Chris Lennon
Chris has been a regular competitor on Pikes Peak since its first fully paved year, in 2012. He won the Vintage Division in 2015, and set the fast time in his class in 2012. 2013 and 2014 saw him finish second in his class, while 2017 saw him set his best time to date (10:50) and finish on the podium in the Open Class. Most recently, he got his sixth podium finish on Pikes Peak, coming in third in the hotly contested Exhibition Class in 2019.
He has served as Chief Driving Instructor, President, and other things with the Alpine Mountain Region of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) and currently serves on PCA’s National Drivers Education Committee. He provides private high performance driver coaching.
An accomplished road racer, having currently and formerly held competition licenses in a variety of sanctioning bodies, he has multiple wins in PCA Club Racing, Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing, and placed third in the Vintage National Championships at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX in 2017.
He’s an avowed Nurburgring Nordschleife junkie, having turned many a lap on the famed circuit, which he compares to Pikes Peak, in many ways.
Chris runs Winding Road Adventures, which conducts trips for Europe, including the Ultimate Car Lover’s Trip, encompassing lapping the Nordschleife, behind the scenes tours of the Nurburgring and Hockenheimring, and visiting the factories and museums of manufacturers like Porsche, Audi, and Mercedes.
He also runs MediAnswers, a media technology consulting company, serving media companies around the globe.
